Personally, I found it slightly easier than the first, but you won't this to be a bad thing, especially when you are too busy waiting for your favourite character to finally make their appearance. Project X Zone 2 is more of the same goodness from the first, only with a few tweaks to how it is played. Do you gang up on one enemy? Do you split up? Is that chest over there worth it?

How to best move your warriors is key whilst remaining out of attack range of your enemies. It is a simplistic concept, but you will find that it becomes quite tactical. But beware, some enemies can unleash attacks just as deadly. Build up your EXP bar and you can unleash an ultimate attack that really deals damage. When you engage an enemy in combat, you enter a battle scren whereby inputting commands helpfully displayed on the touch screen, you can launch various attacks against your enemy with awe-inspiring (and often screen filling) power. When you have moved all of your characters, the computer takes its turn, and so on. You take turns moving your characters across the environment to battle the enemy. The gameplay is simple, not too far removed from the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics. Sorry that you have yet to experience this fantastic game, and envious because you can experience them for the first time with no idea what is going to happen. If you aren't familiar with Project X Zone, I feel both sorry and envious of you. The thought of Ryu of Street Fighter and Phoenix Wright of Ace Attorney being on the same screen is enough to make any fan squee with delight! Like the first game, Project X Zone 2 takes these wild imaginings and makes them real (well, as real as a videogame can get). Once upon a time you would only ever find Megaman fighting alongside Dante of Devil May Cry fame in your own awesome imagination.
